With traditional wrap-around verandas that offer stunning views of the sprawling countryside and grazing cattle, it’s the perfect place to watch the sunrise with your morning coffee.
Purchased in 1896 by the Bebbington family and still owned and operated by Ian and Katrina Bebbington today, Mount View Homestead offers guests the chance to stay on-site in this beautiful country accommodation.

The Homestead
Our charming homestead is the ideal place for families and groups seeking a cosy retreat.
The Homestead is situated in its own private yard with a magnificent 100-year-old Moreton Bay fig tree shading the veranda, which overlooks some spectacular views. Accommodating up to 8 guests, the homestead features 2 queen-sized beds, a double bed, and 2 single beds. The two larger queen rooms have direct access to the veranda, perfect for enjoying an early morning coffee while watching the sunrise without disturbing other guests.
A private firepit area with a 100-year-old bottle tree provides a cosy spot to unwind. The well-equipped kitchen includes a four-plate electric hob with an oven, medium fridge, microwave, toaster, and kettle, with tea, coffee, and some pantry basics provided. The lounge room, which also features a dining area, is equipped with a flat-screen TV, a large reverse cycle air conditioner, and a wood-burning fireplace (with wood supplied, and additional wood available for purchase on-site).
The bathroom boasts a modern shower and the original claw foot bathtub, ensuring a blend of old-world charm and modern comfort. All linen, towels, and toiletries are supplied, and guests can enjoy free WiFi and access to a guest laundry for convenience.
The Ironbark Barn
Take a short walk to Ironbark Barn, located just 50 metres from the Homestead. This fully decked-out barn includes a BBQ, pool table, bar area, and a large fridge to keep all your drinks cool.
The outside fire pit is perfect for enjoying a chat around the fire with friends and family. Shared by house guests and campers alike, Ironbark Barn is a favourite hangout, especially on a rainy day.
